Terms of service

1. Agreement to Terms

By scheduling service, requesting an estimate, or allowing work to be performed by James T. Broussard’s Plumbing, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to the following Terms of Service.

2. Services Provided

We provide residential and/or commercial plumbing services, including but not limited to installation, repair, maintenance, and emergency service. All work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards.

3. Estimates and Pricing

   •    Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may change if additional issues are discovered.

   •    Final pricing may vary due to unforeseen complications, code requirements, or additional labor/materials needed.

   •    Customer approval will be requested before performing additional work that increases the cost.

4. Payment Terms

   •    Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

   •    We accept cash, credit/debit cards (convenience fee applies), checks, Venmo, Zelle, Cashapp (as friends and family or conv, fee applies).

   •    Late payments may be subject to fees and/or interest as permitted by law.

   •    The Company reserves the right to place a lien on property for unpaid services where legally allowed.

5. Cancellations and Scheduling

   •    Customers must provide at least [24 hours] notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

   •    Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a service fee.

   •    Emergency services may be subject to higher rates.

6. Access to Property

Customers agree to provide safe and clear access to the work area. The Company is not responsible for delays or inability to complete work due to blocked access, unsafe conditions, or pets not secured.

7. Customer Responsibilities

   •    Customers must disclose known plumbing issues, prior repairs, or hazards.

   •    Customers are responsible for moving personal items away from work areas.

   •    The Company is not responsible for damage to concealed or pre-existing faulty plumbing, structures, or materials.

8. Warranties and Guarantees

   •    Labor is warranted for [30/60/90 days/1 year] from the service date unless otherwise stated.

   •    Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and equipment installed.

   •    Warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, freezing, or work performed by others after our service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, James T. Broussard’s, is not liable for:

   •    Pre-existing damage or plumbing failures beyond our control

   •    Incidental or consequential damages (such as water damage, loss of use, or property damage)

   •    Delays caused by parts availability, weather, or circumstances beyond our control

10. Permits and Code Compliance

Where required, permits may be obtained at an additional cost. Work will be performed to meet applicable local plumbing codes.

11. Emergency Services

Emergency service calls may include additional fees, after-hours rates, or minimum service charges.

12. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if conditions are unsafe, abusive behavior occurs, or if work requested violates laws or codes.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The most current version will be available upon request or on our website (if applicable).

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.
